Mr. Davy Lorans
Born in 1979 in Bandung (Indonesia) from French parents, has spent his youth in Brittany (north west of France). After graduating the Bordeaux Business school, he started his career abroad, in Germany for the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance. Positively impressed by the local interactions between Human and nature, he collaborated back in France as a journalist for several medias (newspaper, cultural agenda, etc.) with a strong focus for environmental issues. After a come-back to University to validate the knowledge and experiences gathered in this field (MSc research in geography), entered the Université de Lyon to set up a model of collaborative research with civil society: the science shop. After 6 years in this mission, 30 projects have been coordinated while international collaborations are developing.
